Hampton Court Palace

Visit this 16th Century palace after your bike tour, a stunning 2-3 hour visit is needed. The Great Hall with its' hammer beam ceiling , the Chapel Royal, the courtyards, real tennis court + gardens with the largest + oldest grape vine in the world are a must see!

See this view of the later 17th Century style of King William + Queen Mary from Home Park on your bike tour. At the end of the 3/4 mile long canal The Longwater created in 1660 by Charles II we enjoy our picnic lunch purchased from the local market place. 

The palace was home of King Henry VIII + his 5 wives, Anne Boleyn was executed before her apartments were completed, Jane Seymour died at the palace after childbirth + Catherine Howard is the ghost that haunts the screaming gallery.!

We see deer in 2 locations on our Circular bike tour and 1 our Hampton Court Palace Ride from Richmond. To see both deer parks add an extra cycle in Bushy Park on arrival at the palace. It is the 2nd largest Royal Park of London .
